Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service and to purchase coins or subscriptions. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with all laws that apply to you.

2. What the Service Is

BANDERDOG is a Boxing and MMA prediction, analytics, and community platform. Users can make fight predictions, follow events and fighters, view editorial and data-driven analytics, participate in community features, and earn rank and reputation based on the accuracy of their predictions.

Predictions, leaderboards, ranks, and any in-app contests are games of skill provided for entertainment. They do not involve staking money on an outcome and do not award money or anything of real-world monetary value.

3. Not Gambling or Betting

The Service is expressly not a gambling product. In particular:

• You never wager real money on the outcome of any event.
• No prize, payout, or reward of real-world monetary value is offered for predictions, contests, leaderboards, or any other activity.
• Coins and any in-app rewards are virtual items only and can never be exchanged for cash or money's worth.
• Analytics and odds-related information are presented for informational and entertainment purposes only and are not betting advice or a betting facility.

4. Virtual Coins

"Coins" are a virtual, limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use a digital item within the Service. Coins are not your property and are not a balance of money, credit, or any financial instrument. Specifically, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Coins have no monetary value and are not redeemable, refundable (except as required by law or stated below), exchangeable, or withdrawable for cash or any other thing of value.
• Coins are non-transferable and cannot be sold, gifted, or traded between users.
• Coins are used solely to access digital content and features within the Service — primarily fight analytics, premium insights, and subscriptions.
• Any coins awarded through gameplay (for example for accurate predictions, streaks, or contests) are promotional virtual items with the same no-value, no-cash-out terms.
• We may modify, manage, or discontinue coins, pricing, or features at any time. Coins do not expire unless required by law or stated at the time of a promotion; on account termination, unused coins are forfeited without monetary compensation.

5. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Refunds

Coins and subscriptions may be purchased through our web checkout (processed by Stripe) or, where available, through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown before purchase and may change over time.

• Subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current period unless required by law.
• App store purchases are also governed by the terms and refund policies of Apple or Google, and are managed through your store account.
• Because coins unlock digital content immediately, purchases are generally final and non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer-protection law or the rules of the relevant app store.
• You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchases.

6. Accounts and Acceptable Use

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate these Terms;
• Post unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or infringing content, or spam;
• Attempt to cheat, manipulate rankings or contests, use bots, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service;
• Attempt to buy, sell, or transfer coins or accounts outside the Service, or to assign real-world value to coins.

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant BANDERDOG a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within the Service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by BANDERDOG or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted.

8. Third-Party Services and Data

The Service integrates third parties such as Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting and authentication), Sentry (error monitoring), and OAuth providers for sign-in. Fight data, odds, and editorial content may come from third-party sources and can contain errors or delays; it is provided "as is" for informational purposes.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that analytics, predictions guidance, odds, or other information are accurate, complete, or suitable for any decision you make.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BANDERDOG and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 50.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BANDERDOG from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including coin terms, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
